LLPC Clinical Supervision in Michigan | Wright Counseling & Wellness
Supportive, Practical Supervision for Counselors Building Confidence and Competence
Becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor is about much more than collecting hours.
As an LLPC, you're learning how to navigate clinical decision-making, ethical challenges, documentation, diagnosis, treatment planning, professional identity, and the realities of working in mental health. Quality supervision should help you develop into a confident, competent clinician while also supporting you through the licensure process.
I provide counseling supervision for Michigan Limited Licensed Professional Counselors (LLPCs) who want more than a signature on a form. My goal is to create a collaborative environment where you can ask questions, strengthen your clinical skills, and grow into the counselor you want to become.
Virtual supervision is available throughout Michigan.

For New Clinicians Interested in Private Practice
Many graduate programs teach counseling skills but spend very little time discussing the business side of the profession.
For supervisees interested in private practice, I can also provide mentorship related to:
Building a caseload
Documentation and compliance
Insurance basics
Practice policies
Professional development
Long-term career planning
Individual and Group Supervision
Supervision options may include:
Individual Supervision: Personalized support focused on your cases, goals, strengths, and growth areas.
Group Supervision: Collaborative learning with other counselors where you can gain insight from multiple perspectives and build professional connections.
Why Supervision Matters
The supervision relationship can have a lasting impact on your professional development. It is what guides you to grow into a professional counselor that can make it through the other side of burnout as well as find meaningful growth and joy in what you do best. It is an ongoing support and a professional connection that follows you throughout your career.
My approach balances support, accountability, teaching, and consultation. I strive to create a space where supervisees can be honest about challenges, celebrate successes, and develop the confidence needed for independent clinical practice.
